Good Vibes at Village Vibes Festival 2019!

The Village at Peregian Beach hosted it’s very own weekend festival, Village Vibes, held on Friday 20 & Saturday 21 September 2019.

Celebrating and showcasing the diverse range of businesses that make up the thriving hub, the relaxed free community event was powered by volunteers from local businesses and organised by Peregian Beach Business Association.

Held just 10 days after the Peregian Beach bushfires tore through the local community the event became a reconnection of community and a major fundraiser to say a heartfelt thank you to the local Rural Fire Services raising a massive $26,000 in the week leading up to the event & presented to the RFS on the last day.
Twilight Friday and the village square was turned into a bustling hub with late night shopping, ‘Taste & Sip’ food & drink offers at local restaurants and bars all alongside the sweet sounds of local live musicians playing throughout The Village.
Wellness Saturday started with free early morning yoga & breakfast in the square and local wellness experts on hand for advice over the morning. The day progressed into family & pet friendly fun with a Mad Hatters Tea Party for the kids hosted by Zest Factor and pet portraits at Peticular followed by a performance from the Eumundi School of Rock band.

Village Vibes Festival 2020 will not be going ahead due to COVID-19 but stay tuned for updates later in the year for Summer and Autumn events.
